FAQ

How do I calculate an invoice due date?

Enter the invoice date and the payment terms. For Net 30, the due date is the invoice date plus 30 calendar days. For EOM, the due date is the last day of the invoice month.

Are Net 30 terms calendar days or business days?

By convention Net 30 means 30 calendar days. Some agreements specify business days instead — this calculator supports both modes with an optional US-holiday exclusion.

What does EOM + 15 mean on an invoice?

EOM means the invoice is due at the end of the invoice month. EOM + 15 means 15 days after the end of that month.

What if the due date falls on a weekend?

Legally the deadline still lands on the weekend day unless the contract says otherwise — but in practice payments are made the next working day. Switch to business-days mode above to see when the money actually moves.
